Who we are

Invest for Balance (investforbalance.com) is operated by Shonan Kothari, based in Belgium. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website or enrol in the course, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. What we collect

We collect information you give us directly: your name and email address when you join the email list or contact us; your name, email address, and billing details when you enrol in the course; and anything you choose to share in messages, the community, or live calls. We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as device type, browser, and pages visited, through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we collect it

We use your data to deliver the course and community you enrolled in, to process payments, to respond to your messages, to send emails you have signed up for, and to understand how the website is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who processes your data

We rely on a small number of service providers to run Invest for Balance: Kajabi hosts this website and the course platform; Stripe processes payments (we never see or store your full card details); ActiveCampaign manages our email list; and the course community runs on WhatsApp. Each provider processes your data under its own privacy terms and our agreements with them. Some of these providers are based outside India and the European Economic Area; where that is the case, transfers rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you have an account or an active email subscription with us, and afterwards only as long as we are legally required to (for example, invoicing records under Belgian accounting rules). You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in every message.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email shonan@investforbalance.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be) or your local supervisory authority.
